Traceability Policy

TRACEABILITY POLICY

CD126 v3 | Issue date: 26/03/2024

The purpose of this document is to outline AMI-CON’s policy regarding the lot traceability of our
products and services.

AMI-CON is accredited to EN9120 and ISO9001 standards. These standards are audited annually
both by an external organisation (The British Standards Institute) and internally (where our auditors
are fully trained by BSI to the ISO91011 standard of auditing). Full lot traceability is demonstrated as
part of these internal and external audits.

We operate a quality rating system which consists of three levels of rating that defines the quality
level our suppliers and therefore in turn the materials and services AMI-CON supplies and
supports. These ratings are used throughout our process from initial product inception through to
dispatch of goods. All AMI-CON decanted, converted, cut profiles, kitted and toll manufactured own
branded goods follow the same process. In the case of the kitted cut profiles of material we produce
and supply each individual cut ply is traceable back to the original master batch of material from the
OEM and therefore back to raw feed stock.

number, unit of measure, manufacturers batch number, expiry date, quantity ordered, quantity
despatched, any quantity to follow and the quality statement the product was released to. Our
release documents are kept for a period of 10 years.
Please see below note from the EN9120 standard, 8.6 Release of Products and Services:

NOTE: Where there is a formal agreement with the customer, the organization can deliver a
certifying statement created by the organization that references the original manufacturer’s
certificate of conformity and documented information that is retained and traceable by the organization. The certifying statement indicates that defined requirements have been met
throughout the organization’s processes.
Our commitment and investment in these internationally recongnised aviation, space and defence
quality standards ensures that the highest level of quality and full lot tracebility possible is achieved.
Our release documentation confirms comformity and compliance to the standards and full
downstream tracebility. This one document is all that is required to ensure the highest level of quality compliance for the supplied product and/or service.
